How is this different from Intercom or Drift?
Intercom and Drift are full live-chat platforms — sales reps, ticketing, helpdesk. Hub is focused: a smart widget that converts visitors into actions or answers. We're 1/10 the price because we don't try to be everything.
Can I use my own LLM API key?
On the Studio and Agency plans, yes — bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google key. Your API costs become a pass-through. On Solo, we manage the LLM for you and bake the cost into the subscription.
What platforms does Hub work on?
Anywhere you can paste a script tag — Webflow, Wordpress, Shopify, Squarespace, custom Next.js, plain HTML. We're framework-agnostic. The widget is ~12kb gzipped and loads asynchronously.
Will the AI hallucinate about my product?
It can — that's why we let you upload docs and URLs as grounding context. The AI is instructed to defer to your content first, fall back to "I'm not sure — let me get someone" when uncertain, and never make up specifics like prices. Confidence thresholds are tunable.
How long does it take to set up?
Studio configuration: 10–20 minutes for a thoughtful first pass. Embed: one paste. Most clients are live within an hour and refining for the first week or two as they see real conversations.
Can I export my data?
Always. CSV export of all conversations, button click events, and analytics is available on every plan. Studio and Agency get webhook streams for real-time export to your warehouse.
